Pokemon Go Hints and Tips

Catching Pokémon has become a worldwide obsession since the launch of the Pokémon Go.With everyone seemingly playing the augmented reality game, gamers have been scouring their neighborhoods trying to find rare Pokemon.

How to Catch Pikachu as Your Starter Pokemon

When you start the game, you have the option to choose Charmander, Squirtle, or Bulbasaur
as your starting Pokémon, but the game does give you a hidden fourth option: Pikachu!

But rather than catch one of them, you can walk away - in real life - until your phone vibrates. You'll be prompted again to catch one of them. Once the game refreshes the options for a fourth time, stop. Pikachu should now appear as an altenrative option alongside the original three.

It takes a while to actually get right, and it requires you to walk around aimlessly like an idiot, but Pikachu is worth it.

Force Eevee to Evolve Into Vaporeon, Jolteon, and Flareon

Usually, Eevee will evolve into its three traditional evolutions - Vaporeon, Jolteon, and Flareon - randomly once you have 25 Eevee Candies. But you can force the evolution of Eevee by renaming it to particular names, by clicking on the pencil icon next to their name and typing in the following new nickname (without the quotes) for the corresponding evolution.

To be more specific, naming Eevee "Sparky" will force-evolve it into a Jolteon, "Rainer" will force-evolve it into a Vaporeon, and "Pyro" will force-evolve it into a Flareon.

 To Catch Strong Pokemon

You've found a Pokémon! Now what? When the game enters capture mode, you'll see a wild Pokémon juxtaposed into real life through your phone's camera. You've got Pokéballs to throw at it, and there's a colored ring circling the Pokémon's body. What's going on here? In order to maximize your chances of catching a Pokemon and avoid wasting your Pokeballs, look at the size and color. The color of the circles indicates how strong they are — green is weak, yellow is medium and red is strong. Waiting for the circles to shrink will increase your chance at stronger Pokemon staying within a Pokeball.

Good news: There are special Pokéballs you'll earn as your Trainer levels up, and these are much more likely to capture rarer Pokémon. You can also use berries to lull the wild Pokémon into a false sense of security.

Usually, it takes quite a number of throws to capture a strong Pokemon successfully. However, throwing a curve ball slightly improves your odds of getting the Pokemon to stay in the Poke ball. thereby reducing the number of attempts you will have to make sure to get your timing right.

Also, don’t be afraid to vary up the way you throw the ball; if you are able to throw a curveball by spinning the ball you’ll get more XP.

Good luck winning battles and getting lots of XP in Pokemon Go.

If you don't know what type of Pokémon you're facing, you can always check your Pokédex: Tap on the Poké Ball icon in the bottom center of your screen, then select the Pokédex icon and the creature of note.

One of the objectives of the game is for players to walk distances in order to hunt Pokemons. The new augmented reality game is also different from other games as it encourages gamers to go out and socialize with other players rather than play the game in the comfort of their homes. However, the game is not without risks as there are security questions and crimes perpetrateds to or by Pokemon trainers.

hopefully it will help you through your journeys in becoming the next Ash Ketchum. Now go out there and Catch 'Em All!
