[Fix]Remove Shortcut Virus from Flash Drive and Computer

WHAT IS SHORTCUT VIRUS?
 Shortcut Virus also known as  Houdini is a worm which have infected several computers/devices around the world. 
The Shortcut Virus usually spread through USB peripheral device including pendrives, Memory cards, Mobile phones, Digital Cameras and Hard Disk. 

You might think that this shortcut virus isn't so harmful for your Pc or your system but you're wrong. I also felt the same thing that it will not be harmful and I face several data loss. Once executed, it install malicious application that spy your computing routine and most probably steal your financial records if not detected.
I have an antivirus but how come I still got infected with this shortcut virus?" The short answer is, NOT ALL ANTIVIRUS CAN DETECT SHORTCUT VIRUS.  However, the good news is, It's not that hard to remove. In less than a minute you can easily remove terminate and prevent shortcut virus from your computer by yourself. 

METHOD#1 REMOVE SHORTCUT VIRUS USING CMD

Go to Start -> RUN -> CMD. or Windows key + R.

Here I assume your flash drive letter as E:Enter this command.

Type attrib -h -r -s /s /d e:*.*

You can copy the above command -> Right Click in the Command Prompt and paste it. 

And then press Enter.

Method #2 use VIRus Remover software 

Shortcut Virus Remover this application is portable , can be run on pendrive / thumbdrive and did not take many space of your disk and easy to use.

 1.Download the application just double click the Shortcut Virus Remover v3.1 Icon and you can see the application menu.

 2.After downloading is completed open the software."It doesn't need any installation."

 3.Now Select Pen Drive or Computer. Depends from which you want to remove click YES and your done.
